Canada ranks in the top ten fastest-growing wellness economies in the world, according to new research from the Global Wellness Institute <\/strong><\/h2>\n

The research, made possible through collaboration with Blueprint Global, shows Canada\u2019s strength in numerous wellness sectors <\/em><\/p>\n

Miami, FL \u2013 March 26, 2025 <\/strong> \u2013 The Global Wellness Institute<\/a> <\/strong>(GWI), the leading nonprofit dedicated to research and education in the global wellness industry, has released new data on Canada\u2019s robust wellness economy. Growing at 7.3% from 2019 to 2023, Canada is among the top ten fastest-growing wellness economies in the world. At $143.8 billion, its 2023 size exceeded its pre-pandemic level in 2019 by 33%.<\/p>\n

The 2025 report is available on GWI\u2019s Geography of Wellness<\/a><\/strong> platform thanks to a continued partnership with Blueprint Global<\/a><\/strong>, an international leader in luxury real estate envisioning, master planning, marketing, sales and hospitality execution.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are thrilled to continue our partnership with Blueprint Global to showcase Canada\u2019s unique wellness landscape,\u201d said Susie Ellis, GWI\u2019s chair & CEO. \u201cWith its focus on wellness for many of its luxury residential projects, Blueprint Global is an ideal partner to help make this important data available, providing a comprehensive understanding of how wellness businesses and activities contribute to the Canadian economy.\u201d<\/p>\n

The new dedicated Global Wellness Economy: Canada<\/strong><\/a> report is available for download from the GWI site. The report shows that Canada has numerous sectors that rank among the top ten globally, including $11.5 billion on mental wellness (#3); $1.9 billion on workplace wellness (#6); $19.5 billion on public health, prevention & personalized medicine (#6); $13.3 billion on wellness real estate (#8); $24.5 billion on physical activity (#8); $11.6 billion on traditional and complementary medicine (#8); and $25.8 billion on healthy eating (#9).<\/p>\n
